4.4.2 Temperature and pressure. Unless otherwise specified (see 6.2), tests shall be conducted at
local ambient temperature and barometric pressure. The temperature and barometric pressure
shall be recorded at the time of inspection. This information shall be available for computation of
test data, where required, at normal temperature and pressure (NTP) condition. NTP conditions
are 70 0F (21.1 0C) and 29.2 inches of mercury (101.3 kPa). Test instruments shall be calibrated
or adjusted according to their required usage in conducting individual tests.
